Terms of Use

Last updated: July 27, 2026

By using FreeArtGen (“the Service”) you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please stop using the Service.

What the Service is

FreeArtGen is a free, no-account AI image and video generator. You type a prompt, we send it to a third-party inference provider (Runware), and return the result to your browser. Outputs normally live on Runware’s CDN and expire after a short period. Eligible prompt-only results may be copied to durable Gallery storage by default. Download anything else you want to keep.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to generate content that:

We run automated keyword filtering before every generation. Violations may result in your IP being rate-limited or blocked without notice.

Reference images you upload

Some tools let you upload or paste a reference image to guide a generation. That image is sent to our third-party inference provider to produce your result and is not stored on our servers. You are solely responsible for the images you provide: you must hold the rights to them, and they must not contain content prohibited under “Acceptable use” above — including sexual content, depictions of minors, or the likeness of a real, identifiable person used without consent. Our keyword filter does not inspect uploaded images, and we may refuse or block any request at our discretion.

Rate limits

The Service is free and rate-limited to 5 image generations and 1 video generation per IP address per hour. Automated scripting, scraping, or any attempt to circumvent rate limits is prohibited.

Your outputs

The Service permits outputs to be used for personal and experimental purposes only. We make no claim of ownership over outputs, but these terms do not grant you a commercial license. Outputs may contain material subject to third-party rights, and purely AI-generated material may not qualify for copyright protection in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for reviewing the output and obtaining any rights required for your use.

Anonymous public Examples

By submitting a generation request, you give us permission to publish eligible prompt-only requests in public Examples by default. A public item may show the prompt, generated result, originating tool, and date, but never your IP address or identity. Requests that include an uploaded reference image are always private and are never published. Examples pages remain accessible by direct link but carry noindex directives for search engines. Do not submit confidential, identifying, or regulated information.

No warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, output quality, or continued availability. The Service may be modified, rate-limited, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeArtGen and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
