What should I include in an AI image prompt?
Use a simple order: subject, setting, composition, lighting, then visual style. For example: “a red fox in a snowy pine forest, close portrait, soft dawn light, storybook illustration.”
Why did the generator ignore part of my prompt?
Long prompts often contain competing instructions. Keep one main subject and action, remove contradictions, move the most important details earlier, then regenerate.
Can it create readable text, logos, hands, or exact layouts?
Not reliably. Use the generator for the visual concept, then add exact typography, logos, measurements, or production layout in an editor.
Can I keep the same character across several images?
Exact identity is not locked between generations. Repeat the same anchor traits—face shape, hair, outfit, palette—and upload your best result as a reference, but expect some drift.
What happens when I upload a reference image?
The image is sent to Runware for inference and is not stored on FreeArtGen's servers. Prompt text and anonymous generation metadata may be retained for up to 90 days.
What file type and resolution will I download?
New images download as watermark-free PNG: 1:1 1024×1024, 4:3 1152×896, 3:2 1152×768, 16:9 1344×768, 9:16 768×1344, or 4:5 896×1152. Upscale before making a large print.
Can I use an image commercially or claim copyright?
The Service permits personal and experimental use only; FreeArtGen makes no ownership claim but does not grant a commercial license. You must also consider third-party rights and whether local law protects a purely AI-generated output.
